Park Hyatt Chennai to serve Peninsular Indian cuisines from 8th July, 2014


Park Hyatt Chennai, will serve cuisines from Peninsular India with a fixed price and a limitless menu beginning 8th July, 2014. The Dining Room will continue to offer a selection of Western and Indian comfort food for breakfast.

Executive Sous Chef – Balaji Natrajan has a huge hand to play in our redesigned menu. Born and brought up in Tamil Nadu, Chef Balaji has also traveled to multiple parts of Peninsular India, like Goa and Mumbai, just to name a few. Tutored in authentic local cuisine, our team of chefs visit the Kasimedu Harbor as the dawn breaks to bring in the early catch of the day.

The Dining Room at Park Hyatt Chennai now offers authentic cuisine from Peninsular India from the coasts of Maharashtra, Malvan, Konkan and Goa, Malabar, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra included. Whether it is Nethili Varuval of Tamil Nadu or the renowned Goan Fish Curry from the shores of the tourist paradise.The Peninsular Cuisine will delight the foodie in every diner. Likewise the Meen Pollichathu or Mangalore Cashewnut Fish curry or the famous Kathi Rolls of Kolkata or the Chaat from the gullies of Mumbai.
